hey all,
this is a post from a newbie to chevy. On march 5th, i turned 18 and got a 1998 Chevy Cheyenne 4x4 with a 305 and a 5sp. It was my dads truck and he took very good care of it. The truck has 195,000 miles on it. Never a major repair nor any mods. This thing is 100% STOCK! Anyway, i take automotive tech. When doing a compression test on the we found that the ave. was 165-170psi, and some cylinders had 180psi. compression. This baffeled me and the teacher, so we tried 2 other guages and got the exact same reading.
Has anyone ever heard of this? Is this bad for my engine? In my opinion that tells me that it is very healthy but...you never know.
PS
Can anyone were i cna get brakelines for my truck?
