Just bought my truck...it still has the OEM radio in it. The truck is a 1996 Z71. I was going to take the radio out to install my ipod connector, but it just dawned on me that there maybe a lock out code on the radio if I disconnect it. And I don't have the owners manual or anything that would have the code.

Should there be a lockout code on the radio on a 1996?

I'm pretty sure that the radio doesn't have a lockout.
