Could it be something between the throttle body and MAF maybe a crack in the bellows,will it do it if you disconnect the brake booster line?

Well the plot thickens...The noise disappeared this AM on the way to work. Pre-ign is still present. already tried the booster line. I guess at this point I'll just drive until it takes a dump or shows a code???

crazy,maybe there not related and the knock sensor is bad but not throwing a code

I have personally never seen a knock sensor go bad that did'nt code. I went to Advance Auto and scanned it and there were no codes,real or phantom...
