ok so i just recently bought a silverado and right away went out and bought my self a superchips got home so happy tried downloading the cars stock files and then it said car not stock.. so now im stuck not knowing wutt to do.. some one please help.. my cousin had said something a while back about the dealer reseting the cars stock files or something bout .. but not to sure..

 

You'll need to get it reprogrammed with the stock data. Thats gonna be something the dealership has to do.

Also, as a peice of advice. When you put the superchips in the truck, don't mess with the transmission program. You can mess with the shift points and it will benefit you, but don't mess with the firmness.

 

Yes Evansblue is right. you will cook your tranny and thats where many people go wrong with the chip!

 

ok cool and um u rwouldnt happen to know how much the dealer would charge on reprogramming it for me now would u??
