Default suspension question

ive got a 71 chevy 4x4 and noticed the rear suspension was big coils and the front has leaf springs. my concern is whether or not this is a factory 4wd truck...also with the way it sits do u think a 33x12.50 would fit under the front with no rub?? any input at all would be appreciated thanks

a factory '71 pickup would have leaf springs in the rear as well. sounds like someone converted that truck from 2 to 4 wheel drive.
