your pics didnt come up but Im smart and know how to see them

yea thats fine to remove that piece.

it will help increase air flow a lot!

just remember to change the filter regularly.

naw, no damage.


thats the old style of makin air enter faster.

in the old days they didnt have that fancey air plenum goin to the carb. all they had was a fliter housing like you have there. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

wont hurt.

I would look at better spark plugs, high end air filter, hotter ignition coil and heavier plug wires.

hmmm...it has new plugs and wires on it, just got put on a month ago, but they are pretty stock..

stock will run stock.

ask at your local parts store for upgrades. they will have a good idea.

just get a list, dont buy right then. they may try to sell product you dont need or wont make a difference.

Was not on line too much last night. but Kevin pretty much covered it. I had a 200 mustang and removing the prefilter horn was a big deal.
