Hi everyone,
I’m looking into buying a new (to me) Suburban. I’ll likely be looking at 2010’s and newer (but definitely not brand new). In all your experience out there, is there anything to steer clear of? For example, I’ve read a lot of not so great reviews on the “active fuel management” so I’ll avoid that! Thanks in advance for any input you can give me!

The issue you’re going to have is finding a 2010 or newer suburban that doesn’t have AFM. I’m sure they’re out there but the majority would be AFM.
Other issues to watch out for are the tie rods being loose, leaking PS hoses, inaccurate oil pressure sensors, and if it’s a 2015 or newer, faulty vacuum pump for the brake booster.
