Default Thinkin' About an Engine Swap

Hey guys I've got a 2001 chevy silverado with a 4.3L vortec that im daily driving, and an old 97 k1500 z71 with a 5.7 vortec. I was wondering if anybody has done this swap before and can give me tips on how to do it. Like whether i have to swap the ECU and wiring out of the 97 into my 2001. Any help would be appreciated guys. And as always keep on truckin'

Wouldn't go to a 5.7...why not swap to a 5.3 or a 6.0? More power than the 5.7 and better mpg
