I have a 2004 2500 4x4 crew cab. I just took off 265/75/16 (31") tires that did not rub anywhere. I replaced them with 285/70/17 (33") tire and rim combo and only had to trim the lower front air dam on the front bumper. I had already raised up my front torsion keys before I got the new wheels. Hope this helps.

on my '95, 265/75/16 is the stock size. you'll probably be fine.
265mm-25%=198.75mm=7.8in
so your tread width is about 10 1/2 inches
your sidewall height is about 7 3/4 inches
and your overall tire height is 31 1/2 inches
if you wanna make sure just turn your wheels all the way
to 1 direction and overlay these measurements on your
current tires and see if they'll fit.
though I think you'll be fine
