hey everybody,
I have a 1990 chevy 1500 stepside and the person i bought it from has put in a new trany and motor. well when i was at napa I was talking to one of the salesmen about my transfer case and i was telling them how mine is divorced from the trany. Well apparently it isnt supposed to be divorced on that year of truck.
So what my problem is, is that my 4low works but the light doesnt come on, and my 4high does NOT work and they light doesnt come on as well.
I just changed the gear oil in it and I dont know what else i could do. If anybody has any advice or tips about what they problem could be, please let me know.

If it's a push button on dash, it vacumed control. Either you have a electric problem not sending fire to your vacum control or you vacum control is bad. I'd take it to the shop.
