Where they Goodyear tires? They are the worst tire absolute junk. Had you ever heard about roadforce before? Most people have not.

I have a 2000 Silverado 1500 4x4, I have an intermittent problem at speeds between 35-40mph. I get a bucking reaction that seems to be coming from the rear, so much so that the rear bed is literally bouncing up and down. If I accelerate it goes away, if I slow down it goes away. Sometimes when I'm braking, I get the rear bucking. I have had the tires checked, have changed shocks, have had it tuned, and it still does this. The vehicle has 88K miles. Any ideas or suggestions? Saw in another thread here that it could be problem with the drive shaft?

If its rear drum brakes, one is probly out of round. i have never to this day drove a chevy truck with rear drums that arent egg shaped. my 05 had a warped drum and it would get hopping at certain speeds because of it dragging. if its rear disc brake same theory but it would be a rotor.
could possibly be a bent rim or a broken belt in a tire causing a lump in it.
