i have a 96 silverado.
i already have...
cool air intake.
throttle body spacer.
flowmasters.
and hypertech programmer.
im getting a supercharger but what would be the best brans for me to get?
what else could i consider?

aw man i want a job that gets me that kind of pay. pfft this jiffy lube aint doin sheezle for me. but... i hear weiand is a good brand. how many miles are on the motor? im assuming over 100k? are you re-building the motor?

yea it just has over 100k.
im in the military so i aint got the time to re build it.
i want atleast 500 horsepower. but i would like to running 800.
thanks for the input. any other ideas on wat i could do to it?

im not the smartest when it comes to engines. but ill tell ya from a stock block and internals you are not going to hit that power output. and your trans might hate you when you slam the go baby go pedel down too. honestly to get that from a sbc you would need a stroker kit, the whole shabang. thats my goal too but i know i have to bite down on some serious dough. personally, im looking at all new rotating assembly, cam, lifters, everything. and i may have to get a 4 bolt main block just because im that paranoid. if you squeeze 500 horses from your stock motor and it runs with no failure for a long time. PLEASE LET ME KNOW. i might re-build my motor in my 98 silverado and slap a STS turbo on it. of course its goin to be fuel injected and ill need to re-built my trans. but yah. i rambled a lil bit but yeah.

im thinking about putting a LS1 motor in it.
when i got the truck alot was done to it.
i know theguy i bought it from put a new 350 in it so im not sure what it is capable of.
if i re build it im going to put some major cash into it and re do everything.
