so where would be a good place to buy these and can i install them myself...i mean my last truck was a 93 sierra and it was extremely easy to work on but all these mods i dont need to mess with the cpu

you shouldn't need to mess with that for any of these mods. I bought most of my stuff online.

K&N - just about anywhere
Headers - Edelbrock, Holley, Hooker (your preference) online
Superchip/Programmer - (again, your preference) anywhere, online
