what do yall think, 96 z71
hi how yall. im not to involved here. i created it because of a project i was gone start but it never got off the ground. anyway, wanna know what yall think on this truck im lookin at. nice 96 z71 for TRADE!! i havent contacted the owner yet, so what you see on the ad is what i know. the only thing is in about a year im going to be going to school in nashville, and i live near Jackson ms. so it will be on the highway a good bit for 13 months that im in the program. do yall think i would be better off going to a car for the time being or is a 1996 350 small block the way to go? and if there is anything on that year that is a common problem please do tell.

I think you already know the answer to your question.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
It looks like a good truck but the price is a bit steep for a 96 IMO.<o></o>
You can find these trucks everywhere right now for cheap.<o></o>
You should buy the best vehicle for you upcoming need which would be a small car or truck that you don’t have to work on every day to keep it running.<o></o>
From your signature it looks like you have a few projects already and any vehicle that old is going to need some tlc.<o></o>
A final thought, if you are going to buy a FSC find a unmolested one. The one you linked to was someone’s project. Maybe they built it right but more than likely you are going to spend a lot of time chasing down their problems.<o></o>

excellent point sr. im not sure if it would be considered a "project" everyone round here has rims n stuff but it is an older one, however that is the going rate for a 95+ square body chevy around here. i was thinkin the same as in going for a small truck like a taco, or nasty nissan.

That's actually a real nice truck, but like said, it looks like someone else's project and that turns into a nightmare fast. And if you're goin on a 13 month highway program, I'd recommend something smaller, more gas friendly. The colorados are pretty sweet and so are the tacomas. Not sure on the Nissan
