Default what a good leveling kit?

Hello, i just purchased two weeks ago a 2009 1500 z71 4x4 crew cab silverado LT. 5.3 engine. I want to put a good leveling kit on it. later on i will put on some 285 65R 18 tires and a 3" suspension lift. Any brands i should stay away from when purchasing a leveling kit? Thank you for your help.

Txdrummer3.

I have a 01 z71 and I put a ready lift leveling kit on it and it seems to be fine. No problems what so ever

Default leveling kit

I installed a Tuff Country leveling kit and then a Tuff Country 2" lift on my 09 silverado and have had no problems. Looks real good, I'll post pics when I get a chance.

I actually bought the same truck 09 silverado 1500 5.3 and i was looking at the rough country 2.5 kit, does it really level your truck? and i was told with that kit i can run 285/65/18s without rubbing? is that true? I also see allot of people doing a 1" block in the rear but why maybe for hauling??? Thank guys.

It levels it perfect. I was running Mickey Thompson 305/65r17's, which rubbed before I put the 2" lift, afterwards they did fine. I just changed to Nitto Terra Grapplers, 33", and they don't rub, the ride is alot better too.

CCM and rough country are good kits the ccm goes on top of the cant think of the name right now and the rough country goes on the bottom. I have heard from some that the rough country rides better than the ccm but i done know why it would they basically do the same thing.
