Wheel Stud Replacement
Is there any quick and dirty way of changing out a wheel stud on a '99 K1500? I have one broken on each side, both on the front hubs. I looked in my Haynes manual, but couldn't find anything about it. I was just hoping to avoid taking the complete hub assembly off if at all possible.

Well, I got it figured out. In case anyone else ever has this problem, all I did was rent a ball joint press from O'Reilly's. Worked like a charm, I removed the rotor and caliper, and just pressed it out the back. There's enough room if you rotate the stud to where the caliper sits. I don't have air tools, so I just put the new stud in, put a few washers between the hub and one of the lug nuts, and started drawing the stud back through. Good as new!
