wider tires on front
have a question, right now i have 235/70-16 tires on the front and 235/75-16 tires on the rear? the tire shop installed the wrong ones on the front and i am waiting for the 75`s to come in, will it hurt anything to run them and if i keep them would that be bad? i just had inner tie rods and a front end alignment. thanks just wanted to know what to do

Acutally thats a common misconception. You actually have taller tires in the back, not wider. It's actually quite common for trucks to have slightly taller tires in the back than in the front. Why? I have no idea, but alot of people do it. It wont hurt anything at all if you run them with different sizes. Possibly have a small alignment problem if you slam on your brakes to avoid an accident or something, but not a noticable problem, and if you have ABS it will correct that by making your tires rotate at the same speed not dependant on size so if you have ABS then your completley fine, no ABS then your still fine who cares.
Btw, everyone gets the tire numbers wrong. The first number (235) means that your tires are 235 millimeters wide. The second number (70 and 75) is how tall the sidewall is. (part of your tire from the top of the tread to the very side of the rim) It means it is 70%, or 75% of 235 millimeters. In this case that would be 164.5 or 176.25 millimeters. The third number, which basically everyone knows, is the rim size. You have 16 inch rims.
