i think in 99 they made the new and old body style so if its the old body style the defidently yes, if its the new body style then maybe, if the frame is the same and the bumper wont hit, then id imagine

Didn't they keep the old body style for an extra year on the Suburban? Or am I making that up....but it's definitely possible that his '99 is the old body style, and then it should fit.

i got lucky the Suburban didn't change to the new body style till 2000.
that being said it was still a bitch to put on with all them rusted bolts a 20 min thing ended up taking almost 3hrs.

i found out that in 99 they made started off making the old body style and then half way through the year they came out with the new body style which i believe they called the 99.5, that was the 5.3 vortec and the new body style, this info isnt "offical" but i figured it from other things ive read, and for the tahoe and suburbans, 2000 was the first year off the new body style, but they also made a tahoe limited in 2000 which was the old body style with ground effects, painted front bumper with fog lights instead of toe hooks and they had a "police package" on it, it wasnt any more performance but it had a upgraded suspension and larger brakes. my friends dad has one, i looked into the tahoe limiteds because they also have a gauge cluster that went up to 120 miles and hour, and i believe the same cluster came in that body style escalades, ive been trying to find that cluster to put in my 97 k1500 just because i think it looks better but its near impossible to find for a reasonable price
