Default 2011 Aveo A/C problems & stuttering problems

Hi I have a 2011 Aveo & the A/C works good for the first few minutes & then just stops . But the fan is still blowing . & if I turn it off for a little bit & turn it back on it works good again for a few mins then stops again . Also I am having problems with acceleration at times . Is any one else having problems like this with there aveo ??? & any tips ? we had a tech put in coolant. So I know that's not the problem . All my cars & trucks are chevy & I just been very disappointed with this Aveo . but any tips would be very helpful ! Or if any having same problem please share .

Thanks Trish

Default Re:aveo a/c...

I noticed the same issues on my aveo '10 and I have the same issues... hit the gas when a/c is running....there is also some kind of leak of the a/c I'm sure ...it hesitates and I plan to tune it I'll reply what fixed the issue... I just fixed the thermostat I recommend that you go to chevy dealer and buy the the thermostat complete with the housing. If you have the plastic housing when you change the thermostat that piece of plastic will break its just a matter of time I'd say there good for 100 k miles so save a headache
