Hello,
Took the car to dealer after getting Engine Light on.
They diagnosed that catalytic converter has gone bad, some error code that is quite commonly known. Not sure I've seen this happen in other makes and models. Fully covered in Warranty.
Also, mentioned that Battery had one cell gone bad, which is understandable since car is about 5/6 years old.

My son's 03 Blazer with 71,000 miles also had the catalytic converter go bad. It happens. if you had to get a battery after 5/6 years, you did real well.

From a website:
"Almost all problems with a catalytic converter are because of an engine issue. It is most often caused by excess fuel entering the exhaust system due to an incorrect air/fuel mixture, bad spark plugs, incorrect engine timing, failed oxygen sensor, or other issues where fuel leaves the engine’s combustion chamber unburned."
Does that mean replacing the CAT is just fixing the symptom and not the Cause? If so, then there is something that will go wrong again..
