Code P0597 - I AM JUST ABOUT OVER THIS CAR
Hello, I have had my Sonic a little over two years, I purchased it brand new... however this last year has been nothing but a hassle... does P0597 mean I have to replace the thermostat or just low coolant. If someone could please assist, I would be forever grateful.

Go out and check the coolant level . If it needs coolant , add it . Clear the code & see if it reappears .
If it reappears , find out if Chevy will fix it under warranty . Two year old car . How many miles ? What does it say about warranty in the owners manual ?
Our Sonic is a 2015 & so far we have not seen this error code .
