Default Help removing factory stereo

I have an after-market Kenwood stereo that I want to put in my 2007 Aveo, but I can't find any screws or anything to take it out. I was wondering if someone can give me some step by step instruction on removing the factory stereo? My second question is I already have the amp. power kit for my amp to power my sub, as well as the in dash kit, but do I need a harness kit? I don't even know what that is by the way. Thanks in advance.

Default RE: Help removing factory stereo

I just changed the factory stereo in a 2004 Aveo. There is a piece on each side of the radio, kind of looks like carbon fiber. Pop those off, be careful, its easy to break. After you take those off, there are two screws on each side of the radio. Bam, there ya go.
