Default '04 Burb Oil Pressure Guage

After making a right hand turn, there was a strong oil smell. I then noticed the oil guage was fluxuating. 40 while idle, 50 while maintaining speed, 60 (normal) while accelerating. I stopped and left the engine idling and looked under the car, waited a couple minutes, no oil leaking. I looked under the hood and no oil on the engine, no oil smell either. Anyone know what this could mean? The oil guage usually stays at a constant 60 while driving. Thank you for any help.

Your oil pressure is good. Did you check the oil level? Did you recently add oil and maybe put too much in? If it just happened once and didn't do it again, then I wouldn't worry about it.
