Default 07 Lower/Bumper Grille, Tow Hook Removal??'s

I am thinking about adding the lower bumper tow hook area Precision Design Phat Billet Grille to my tahoe.

Has anyone added the lower section grilles? Do they all require removal of the tow hooks??? How do you remove the tow hooks? Pictures please!!!

Are you talking about adding the grille covers to the front bumper over the tow hooks? I added teh mesh ones to mine and they fit fine. All it said in regards to the tow hooks was you could paint them so they hide a bit better behind the grille.

No need to take them off with the Carriage Works lower grills. Just have to take off the plastic surround. Just need to push it back to unclip, then slide it out. It was kinda tricky to get the grills in. Holes need to be drilled and there isn't much room in there, even for a right angle drill. But, it can be done.

Has anyone installed a precision brand front bumper insert grilles?? That is the brand I am looking at.

For those of you that removed your tow hooks can you provide the details of step by step removal! THanks.

i think my grille was precision but it was a while ago..taking the hooks off were the easiest part, only 2 bolts on each hook..top grille uses toggle bolts to bolt on over existing and bottom ones screw into apron but it takes a little while in akeard posistions to mark it before you drill
