07 LTZ w/ Nav Owners Please Check In
It looks like Chevy went on the cheap again with a non-lux Bose system for us Chevy guys.
Unless something is wrong with my radio or I am missing something, there are no "surround" sound options like I had on my 05 Denali with Nav ("spacious" , "front" and "rear" settings, that allowed you to get different sounds throughout the truck).
Just Bass, Mid, Treble, and Front, Rear, Left and Right controls. The Nav operators manual makes several references to items available with the Bose sound system, but I haven't found them on my radio.
So is GM doing the Lux Non-Lux thing again with the Denali getting the Bose Lux radio and amp?
I am going to try and get by the dealership and take a look at a denali and Yukon SLT with Nav and see what's up
Thanks

From what I gather that is exactly what chevy did... As much as I love my 07LTZ next time I think I'm going to have to get the Yukon... Live and Learn

You gotta get the "Yukon Denali" to get the Y91 Bose Lux Amp.
Quite a bit of extra scratch for a chrome honeycomb grill and negligibly better sound system.
Don’t be a poser! Either do the Escalade or forget it.

Other than the heated steering wheel and the lux amp what else can you get in a Denali you can't get in a Tahoe?

i found out that on the center console there is the option for rear seat passengers to listen to their own music. If you turn off the power to the rear system you only get sound in the front. I played with that option to the rear entertainment system. I turned it on and off and found that all the speakers work with it on. When it is off it seems to cut off sound to the rear.
