07 suburban passenger mirror actuators

i recently replaced passenger mirror and actuator on 2007 suburban LTZ. It doesn't seem to allow reset of memory positions. Do I need to recalibrate actuator motor some how? Thanks for help!

Any thoughts on this? Do I just need to disconnect battery?

When our 05 had mirror problems our mechanic instructed us to fold them all the way in & out three times. They returned to normal function.

Just to clarify I replaced only the mirror glass and glass adjustment actuator.
