07 Tahoe- Code B0163
 
Not able to retieve any info on the Tech 2 for this code. Hardly any info available. Can anyone PLEASE help?

Welcome to the forum.

According to the factory service manual, it is the psgr cmpt temp sensor 1 circuit and is set by the HVAC module. Hope this helps.

I couldn't find the B163 but found these and they are similar in description as 73sharks, they may help narrow the troubleshooting...

DTC B0159 Outside Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Range/Performance

  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  3. With a scan tool, observe the appropriate Duct Actual parameter in the Heating and Air Conditioning data list.
Does the scan tool indicate that the Duct Actual parameter is within the specified range?

Does the scan tool indicate that the Duct Actual data parameter is less than the specified value?
