My 07 Tahoe is having intermitent issues with the door locks going down. When I press the remote to lock my truck the horn beeps to confirm the lock. Most of the time the locks go down but maybe 2 out if 10 times one or two doors do not go down.

I have tried to continue to press the lock and unlock on the remote and I have also tried this on the door control panel inside the car while I am testing it and the doorlocks wont budge to move up or down.

I have to manually open the door pull out the key and then the door locks will go up and down. My concern is that I always have to do a second check on my door locks to ensure they are down when I remote arm.

Also, the same time the door locks get stuck I cannot control and windows except for the driver side.


Please help.

 

Besides taking it to the dealer, the only thing I can suggest is to try disconnecting the battery for about 15 minutes. Before reconnecting, momentarily touch the disconnected positive cable to the negative post.
