Default 07 Tahoe LTZ Evap Vent Valve Selenoid

Has anyone replaced the Evap Vent Valve Selenoid on an 07 Tahoe LTZ? I'm having difficulty locating the proper part number to replace mine (engine light indicating it needs replaced). I appreciate any help you all may have!

FLTMDC03,

I can locate the correct part number for you. I will need the last 8 of your VIN for verification. Look forward to hearing from you.

I just had the same problem with mine. I replaced the gas cap, evap filter, as well as the purge solenoid and line near the fuel tank. Now the check engine light went on AGAIN with the same issue!!! They smoked the system and say its now the cannister purge valve under the hood on the intake manifold. Any suggestions on what to do?

verify what they just tested. disconnect the vent line from the purge solenoid. attempt to blow through the purge solenoid inlet. if you can, its faulty and should be replaced.

I haven't replaced the purge valve solenoid (the one that attaches to the intake manifold) but I have replaced the gas cap, the little fuel filter near the gas cap, as well as the entire evap hose with it. But I am still getting the check engine light. It was smoke tested and now they're saying its the purge cannister solenoid under the hood...

I was told the light threw a code that indicated I needed to replace the vent valve solenoid, but I'm not sure if it's referring to the one under the hood or the one near the gas tank under the vehicle. It makes a "buzzing" sound when started at the back right at the gas tank fill if that helps. Any idea on which it may be? Still unable to locate the right part number, now unsure of which part I should be looking for. I appreciate any guidance you may be able to offer!
