07 Tahoe and offspacing issue
Hopefully someone can answer this. I have some 22" wheels/tires (305/40/22) that are an 18mm offset. Will they work on an 07 tahoe! They came off my 05 avalanche. Thanks!
if they stuck out a little on your 05 avalanche like my 305/50r20 with enkei deep six wheel stuck out on my 05 avalache, then thos etires will stick out about 2 inches in the front and an 1 1/2 in the rear on your 07 tahoe. i wanted to keep my rims so I had to get a set of 25/55r20, and i ended up going with the pirelli scorpions because the tread width was not too wide so that they don't stick out much at all. You can buy different 275/55r20 and they will have a wider tread. Unfortunately Gm gave these 07 tahoes a wider stance so those wheel from the previous models will stick out.

its a no go, wheels stick out about 4 to 5 inches. I was wondering if I bought 285/45/22 tires, would it work? I may have to just buckle down and buy new 22s with the +30 offset. This sucks!
Buying 285s might help but the 38+ offset is tough to match on the new trucks. The wheels might not stick out as far as they did but im betting that they will stick out further than you want. Im running 305/45/22 with a 20+ offset and they are close to pushing out the side but are mainly covered.
