Default 07 Tahoe Steering Wheel Emblem

Ever since I purchased my tahoe the center emblem in the middle of the steering wheel has had a dent right in the middle. I guess the GM employee who drove this before I purchased it had some road rage issues.

Anyways, can I just pop that off and buy a replacement emblem? Or is the emblem part of the steering wheel? Any information including a replacement emblem part number would be great. Dave can you help me on this?

Ask your dealer if it is serviced seperately, I doubt that it is.

The exact same emblem is used on different Chevys. There is also an SS I've seen in Impalas. I just don't like the look of the thing. I would like to do something with mine. Anyone know if it is glued on or what?

Your parts guy (you do have a parts guy, right?) should be able to find it in about five minutes.

If someone has a parts guy that can find out this information I would apprecaite it and a part number for just the little emblem if it is taped/glued on and can be removed.

Go to your dealer's parts dept and tell the counterman what you are looking for.

It's not that simple at mine. I'm sure others have it a ittle rougher than that as well. Most of the time I have to take part numbers in for stuff like that. I have, recently, hada little more luck as long as I had a VIn for the vehicle I wanted a part from.
