Default 07 w/haze on 20's and headlight covers

Hello,

I just bought my first Chevy; an 07 Suburban LTZ w/stock five spoke polished aluminum wheels.

Question/observation. The wheels have a haze that brightens when wet and the same with the headlight covers. I assume the wheels are clear coat and I need to know what is best for bringing out the shine w/out doing damage. A light plastic polish maybe.

I also want to get the light haze off the headlight covers. Many products haven't worked for me before on thick yellowed volvo headlight lenses, but this haze is much lighter.

Thanks for any input!

Chip

Welcome to the forum.

The main problem w/ the wheels is that they are polished aluminum and most were not that good early on. In fact some were so bad that GM offered them as a "painted gray" no-cost option. You could try a very mild polish but doubt you'll see much improvement. As for the headlites, I'd try a good headlite restoration kit.
