08 Tahoe coolant flush

08 Tahoe coolant flush
I want to flush and clean the cooling system on my 08 Tahoe. I found there is no drain plug like my 98 Silverado has so I need to pull the bottom radiator hose. I can't even get my hand to it let alone open the clam and pull it off. What's the best way to do this?

You have to un-clamp the bottom rad hose. They make a special tool that undoes clamps in hard to reach places such as so. Its $150. Then after you drain it, you must put the hose back on. Now 2 options:
1.) Pull A vacuum on entire system and refill with original Dex Cool and be done.
2.) Flush out entire cooling system, drain, and replace with the very common and cheaper green fluid and be done.
For option 1, they make yet another $150 tool that uses compressed air to pull a Complete vacuum (30 inches of mercury) on the cooling system, once at full vacuum you then shut the air off and open a valve that sucks the new Dex Cool from a bucket up through a hose and then into the cooling system, the vacuum ensure no air bubbles and the perfect fill level when done.
