1/4" slide on aluminum wheel spacer..
I have my new 20" wheels on that have a +35mm offset compared to the stock +31mm offset. The front wheels look perfect and the backs look good too, but I would like to move the backs out a little and am considering using a 1/4" aluminum slide on spacer that will move the wheel only 2mm out further than stock. Only talking about the back wheels here and only a 2mm difference from stock so lug problems, suspension problems, bearings problems, etc. are mute. I could see these problems if someone was going to move the wheel out some distance further than stock, but 2mm is neglible, but the 1/4" difference it will make to the +35mm will get the rear wheel JUST inside the well. Anyone have any technical reasons why not to use a 1/4" aluminum spacer on the rear wheels of a 2007 Tahoe to get aftermarket wheels to where stock wheels would normally ride? Here is the spacer I am considering:

Thanks. I don't want to do anything that is unsafe or cause problems with ride quality, etc.

You're right...it looks great the way it is...staying away from clap trap spacers...only looking for trouble...to correct 4mm isn't worth risking a wheel coming off a $50k vehicle....
