1990 R1500 blower motor not running after heater core replacement
I just replaced the heater core in my friend's 1990 Suburban R1500, and now the blower doesn't run. I didn't knowingly disconnect any electrical connectors. Can anyone direct me to resources for a fuse diagram and wiring diagrams?
Also, does anyone know of any hot spots where I might have been likely to disconnect or pinch a wire during this job? If it makes a difference, it was the one where you have to remove the heater box with the 3 studs through the firewall, not the one where you pop the bottom off the heater box. Thanks! |
I'd check the fuses first. Is the fuse diagram on the underside of the fuse cover?

For anyone researching the same problem, it was super simple. I accidentally disconnected the power wire to the blower while disconnecting the heater hoses.

Thanks for posting the fix; many people fail to do the update.
And we've ALL done some stupid stuff in the past.... |
