1992 Suburban no instrument lights
Ok here here we go.I went on a trip and pulled into a gas stationturned my lights off. I got back in the car and turned the lights on, and the lights come on but the instrument lights dont. But the ABS light that was already on does. So i try and change the fuse and its not blown. So now i am like WTF must be a short somewhere else in the system any help will be much appreciated.

Ok, here is a dumb question and I mean no offense by it: did you check your dimmer switch? I have seen it happen that the dial gets bumped unknowingly and turns off the dash lights (just a couple weeks ago!).
If the switch is not manualy turned off, that is still a place to begin testing. That switch can fail and not send voltage to the lights at all.

Here is another idea to look at that I just found here: https://chevroletforum.com/m_52260/tm.htm
It does not quite describe what you have, but it is the same system and may be a similar issue.

There is a fuse box on the left end of the dash, is this the one you changed? If so, there is also a relay under the dash (drivers side) that my be gone that controls the instrumet cluster.
