Default 1996 chevy suburban diesel review???

Hey all,

I am looking at a 1996 chevy suburban for $2800. Has a 6.5 diesel with user 100k on it.
Vacuum pump was recently replaced. It's super clean

However it stalls when it's on a steep hill or low on fuel. However it happens only every now and then. It fires right back up.
Any ideas?

Possibly a broken off pickup tube in the fuel tank, or air intrusion in the fuel lines. Is it hard to start after it's sat overnight? Then it's air intrusion. Otherwise drop the tank and replace the pickup tube.

100k? That sounds like an awesome deal, even with this issue.
