Default 1996 Suburban conversion to Diesel?

Hello everyone! I am considering purchasing a 1996 Suburban 4x4 and installing a diesel engine. Ideally I would like to put in a duramax plus allison trans.

Does anyone have any idea if that is possible in that year-model suburban? Would this be a feasible project?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Follow this tread when im thinking in same directions on my 1996 Tahoe. Thinking of use the 6.5L diesel from a scrapped 3500.
