I have a 1999 suburban with 205,200 miles on it and lately It is feeling like it cuts out. It's worst when Just started it (only after it sits a while) or its in reverse and it will feel like it might die. And when I'm going free way speeds. It happens quite often. But my service engine light isn't on and my RPMs stay constant they don't drop when the cutting out feeling happens. Does it need a tune up? I don't think it's had one in some time now. Anyone have any idea what I could do?

Yes, start with a tune up. I recently bought a 99 1500 Lt suburban with 160,000 miles on it. About a week after it started missing and acting like it wanted to die I did a tune up and found the number 5 and 7 cylinders had bad plugs number 2 and 8 had bad plug wires and the dizzy cap and rotor were in bad shape too. New plugs wires cap rotor air filter fuel filter oil change and it runs like a top. Be prepared it is going to cost you close to 200.00 bucks just for parts to do it yourself.
