Default 2001 suburban bogs out in idle when cold.

5.3 vortec.
For the last year or so every time I start the suburban it intermittently bogs out and almost stalls, then revs up and back to normal for a few seconds then bogs out again. It will do this for about 3-4 minutes until it gets warm. Once warm it has always run fine.

Just recently, my wife has told me that as she is driving it, it will kinda bog down as if it's not getting fuel for a moment. There is no check engine light on either.

Need advice/thoughts.

Thanks

Welcome to the forum. Check the fuel pressure. The fuel pump may be going Tango Uniform.
