The power window switch on my grandfather suburban was only working half the time so i found it easy to swap the driver switch with the working rear pass. switch. I dissconnected those connections at the back of the door control panel but the panel still had power
go figure! it was getting power from the power mirror connection then i here a weird arcing sound so i reconnect the panel and turn the ignition and now the truck won't turn on. At first the dash panel lit up and made a clunking sound at the starter. Now it just acts normal but doesn't turn on and none of the windows work. Thanks

start at the area you heard the arking noise. it wont do you any good to replace fuses if you keep blowing them when that arking starts happening. if you find the broken wire, and fix it. it might fix all your problems. after you find/ fix the broken wire then start figuring out battery, fuses and the rest of the problems. cause your car not starting is the least of your problems. its not starting because something else isnt giving it enough power or none at all.
