Default 2001 Suburban Heat & Air Problem

If you turn the heat on highest temp it will work and it will burn you up. If you turn it down any it goes completely cold. some times it will randomly go cold on its own. Has anyone heard or seen this before? I love to get this fixed!
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum,

Might be a bad POT( potentiometer )in the AC controls, if thats the case you might need to replace the entire dash module. That thought is just a shot in the dark though. Id get an opinion from a shop or the dealer. Seeing is believing when repairing cars.
