2002 Dash Light Switch
A year a go or so the wife noticed that the dash lights were intermittent in the Tahoe. I fiddled with it a little, and figured it was the contacts in the dimmer switch. If you rolled it back and forth, the lights would come on. It doesn't get driven that much at night, so I forgot about it.
Last night my son was driving it and noticed the switch felt warm. I checked, and he was right.
Has anyone else ever noticed a "warm" dash switch?
How do you access it, or pull that left dash panel out? I have some electronic contact cleaner that I want to try before replacing the switch, but can't see how to get it out.
Thanks for any help.
