Hello everyone,
I have an 02 Suburban, and the wipers work when the switch is in the high position only. They do not move anywhere else, and they shut off wherever they want. Anyone have any idea what the solution to this problem is?
Thanks!
Dave

Thanks. I have the ESI discs so I installed them and did the diagnostics, and it turns out that the control board that is on top of the wiper motor has a broken diode. I'm trying to get the diode at Radio Shack today as the part doesn't seem to be available locally, and I'd rather spend 15 cents than 40 bucks. rockauto.com does have the part. If you have this problem, chances are this is what the cure is. I think the diode wasn't soldered in properly, as one end of it was out and it was broken in half, the loose half was stuck in the grease.
