Hey guys. I have a 2003 Tahoe Z71 with the 5.3 Gas engine. I want to increase horsepower and torque as well as improve gas mileage a little bit. I decided to put a cold air intake on it this summer. Heres what I decided on. 2003 Chevy Tahoe AEM Brute Force Intake - AEM Intakes - AEM Cold Air Intake - Videos, Sounds, Installations & Reviews Let me know what y'all think about it!

Welcome to the forum.
Your mpg will go up due to your wallet being lighter by a few hundred bucks and the intake induction noise will go up giving the impression that your engine is about 100 hp better. Trust me, not much will change. The ECM will relearn after a few cycles and miles and compensate for the change. I checked my CAI w/ my G-Tech Pro on my 2007. No discernible change w/ either the cat-back exhaust or the CAI.
Sure sounded a lot better tho.
