Hi All -
As a newbie here, I did search but may have missed the answer to my question, so please bear with me.....
I am trying to add a direct wired FM modulator to my 2003 Suburban's Bose radio/6CD player. The dash is out and the 3 screws holding the radio have been removed. When sliding the radio out it only comes out about an inch or so before resistance is met. It doesn't feel like a hard stop, rather tight cables.I didn't pull hard for fear of causing some damage. Do the cables need to be somehow disconnected before removal or is there something else that I am missing.
Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks!

If you can reach your hand in there, the antenna wire is usually caught behind the dash. It plugs in on the lower right corner of the radio. If you can't reach it, usually if you pull the radio a little harder, either the cable will disconnect from the radio, or it will come out from behind the dash.

Here's a quick update for anyone who may be helped by it.
As is turns out, the radio would not gently or firmly pull out further, nor could I reach to unplug the antenna by hand. So, I removed the storage pocket to the lower right of the radio and removed the heat/AC controller. By doing so, the radio could drop down more and I could get a hand in above the radio and one if from the side to unhook the antenna even though the radio was only out about 2" or so. This was all I needed to do for my project. If I had to unhook the other connections, there would have been a lot more bloody knuckles. Good luck to anyone doing so.
'til next time....
