Default 2003 Tahoe 5.3 4x4 LT O2 sensor

Does aanyone have any tips or tricks to get the bank 1 sensor 1 unplugged? I can't get my forearm far enough thanks to the drive shaft. Anything will help I'm 5 months expired on my inspection and my apartment complex is threatening to tow it!!

I use a medium length pry bar to pop it out of it retainer. Then you can pull the wires down enough to separate the connectors.


I ground a slot in the middle of the pry bar so it slips behind the retainer like a 2 pronged fork.
