Default 2005 Tahoe Stabily control ?

I just bought an 05 tahoe with stability control twice in the the last 2 days I get a message on the DIC that "Stabilty control disabled"

Is this normal? Any thoughts? No other probelms or lights.

Default RE: 2005 Tahoe Stabily control ?

There are numerous things that will cause this message and most have nothing to do with the Stabilitrak system.
Have the codes pulled with a scan-tool and let us know what they are.
