2007 Suburban Dead battery

Car wasn't used a whole day Saturday from Friday 6pm, went for a few small drives last night not more than 10 minutes each , this morning it was DEAD !, I have emergency lights and sirens installed and the amp draw after shutdown is from 0.136-0.101, is this enough to kill the battery , after how many hours ? The lights have been installed for 3 months and have never given me any problems Should I go with Optima battery ? The red or the yellowone ?

Thanks

I'd have the battery and charging system checked first. Advance Auto and others will do it free.

Yellow top is best for your kind of set up. You may also want to put a on/off power disconnect switch to your emergency equipment (that way you can kill any power consumption to your emergeny equip at the flick of a switch). LED lights draw the least amount of current if you did not know that already. I would like to see of pic of you setup. Good Luck - Engine 2

There is a battery drain down recall on 07 Subs. Not sure if it is on all, but I know it was on 2500's. Check with your dealer... It's a computer flash I believe.

Just had my 2007 Tahoein the shop this morning to have the tires balanced, and they updated the computer due to the battery drain issue it was causing.

Learned from experience........the battery will drain dead with the key left in the ignition, even if turned all the wayto OFF / LOCK.

Didn't they tell you that you have to keep it in a nice warm garage? :D

Glad you got it fixed.
