2007 Tahoe LTZ, how to find hitch class?
Hello all, going on a trip to Montreal, then to Niagara Falls and back home to VA. Ive been looking for hitch cargo baskets, and I've found one that I like:
Thule Hitch Cargo Boxes - 2012 Thule 665C Transporter Combi Hitch Mount Luggage Box for 1.25" and 2" hitches
But it says that its for class 2 only, 1.25" and 2" compatibility. I'm clueless about hitch classes and towing, and how much weight each class can hold. I did a search and I think the factory hitch is a class 3 on my Tahoe.
So I assume that this cargo box wont work with my class 3 hitch? Someone shed some light on this subject for me please! Thanks.!
